The Siamang engine is source-available — its survey logic, compilation and analysis primitives are there to read, run and extend, free for noncommercial use. Siamang Cloud is the managed platform built on top: hosting, version control, a response database, dashboards and team workflow. The cloud uses only the engine's public APIs, so the source-available core stays honest and evolves on its own.
